Public Internet Access in New Mexico

If you do not have access to the Internet where you live, there are many places in New Mexico that you can go to use the Internet free of charge.

• You can use one of the many free public access computers found at libraries and learning centers throughout New Mexico. Some libraries also have free wireless access for visitors with laptop computers or other devices set up for wireless Internet. Many offer computer and Internet training.   Note: Library patrons using Albuquerque Public Access Computers must have a special SmartCard that also functions as a library card.

• Many community centers offer free public access computers and computer classes.

• The La Plaza Telecommunity also offers free public Internet access in Taos, Questa, Taos Pueblo and Peñasco. Call 758-1836 for more information.
